We are constantly striving towards making the best products for our customers. As a world leader in the design and manufacturing of precision Wheel Force (WFT) and Wheel Torque Transducers (WTT), it is important to remain competitive and innovative. We are excited to announce that all Michigan Scientific passenger car, SUV, and light duty truck WFTs and WTTs passed the SAE J328 Standard. This includes the LW12.8 and TW12.8 product lines.
The SAE J328 is an international standard for fatigue testing of wheels intended for normal highways use and provides minimum performance requirements and uniform procedures. It covers wheels being used on passenger cars, light trucks, and multipurpose vehicles. With a passing grade on this standard, our customers can now have some extra reassurance in their transducer reliability. These transducers are often used for applications such as durability testing, efficiency testing, brake testing, which requires them to be rugged and reliable. Paired with an IP67 rating, Michigan Scientific Wheel Force and Wheel Torque Transducers provide the confidence needed to pursue testing in any weather or condition.
