Description

Michigan Scientific S-Series Slip Rings facilitate the transfer of both analog and digital signals from sensors mounted on a rotating shaft. With a capacity of up to 10 connections, these slip rings are suitable for applications requiring connections to strain gauges, thermocouples, RTDs, accelerometers, and digital signals. The slip ring brushes and rings are made of precious metals, which minimize noise and enable the assemblies to be used for low level instrumentation signals. In addition, a high-grade stainless-steel case provides protection from dust and other contaminants.

These S-Series models are available in 4, 6, 8, and 10 connection slip ring assemblies. Connections are made through color coded solder terminals located on both the slip ring rotor and slip ring stator. Permanently lubricated bearings eliminate the need for routine cleaning and maintenance. The lightweight and compact design of these slip ring assemblies make them ideal for use in applications where space is limited.
