Thermal Break Adapters

Description

Thermal break adapters can be critical in limited space applications where high temperatures are prevalent. Michigan Scientific Amplifiers are tolerant of heat up to 125 C (257 F), but higher temperatures can cause failure. The Thermal Break Adapter attaches directly to the rotor of a slip ring to help lower the heat experienced by the amplifier while still maintaining accurate results in space-constrained settings.

Thermal Break Adapters can be used on engines where temperatures are high. They are also used in electric vehicle testing applications. It is recommended any application using an amplifier where the temperature may exceed 125 C (257 F) use a Thermal Break Adapter.
