Installing
TR3D-A and TR3D-B models is made easy with the optional Bottom Thread Adapter. The Bottom Thread Adapter allows a modified screw to be installed into the load cell prior to the load cell being mounted. The screw is inserted into the adapter and the adapter is then installed into the load cell. The insertion tool allows for the adapter to be properly tightened. Once the modified screw has been installed with the adapter, the load cell can be mounted using the bottom screw and the threaded hole at the top of the load cell. The Bottom Thread Adapter allows the load cell to be mounted entirely from one side. This method can be used where access to threaded holes on the base is limited or unavailable.
The Bottom Thread Adapter comes standard with a modified 30 mm M12 Socket Head Flat Screw that fits the assembly.
