Magnetic Vehicle Stator Restraint (MVSR)

Description

The Magnetic Vehicle Stator Restraint (MVSR) and Restraining Rod are used to restrain the stator of a Slip ring Assembly or Wheel Pulse Transducer while it is being used on a vehicle wheel. The MVSR is a magnetic system that mounts onto the vehicle. The Restraining Rod is attached to the stator of the slip ring or WPT and secured with the MVSR. The Restraining Rod is a nylon flexure attached to an aluminum tube. The aluminum tube extends upward and engages the bracket, which is magnetized to the vehicle body panel above the wheel.
